AC Labels wins IPIA award for the second year running

The specialist printer of variable barcode labels was again voted the top trade manufacturer by members of the Independent Print Industries Association from over 50 potential national candidates.

Peter Hartshorn, general manager of AC Labels, said: ‘We were chosen on the criteria of innovation, consistent quality, delivery response and professionalism of internal staff.

‘This is a real tribute to the hard work and dedication shown by our team, and our determination to remain the printer of choice for manufacturers, retailers, logistics organisations and medical establishments throughout the UK.

‘Something seemingly simple like a barcode can make a huge difference to productivity, allowing a fast throughput, accurate stockholding, traceability and timely delivery for a wide variety of industries and services.

‘Getting it wrong can spell disaster with, for example, patients who have submitted blood samples. We have invested time and money to ensure we get it right – first time, every time. Our customers really appreciate our team’s professionalism, and we are very grateful to them for this special recognition.’

Jason Woodhouse, business fdevelopmen manager at AC Labels, added ‘We work tirelessly to save our customers time and money. The value that we add to their supply chain is something we often struggle to get them to measure – but this is a great reward to us for all the effort we have put in over the past year…and something to spur us on in the future.
