Valloy receives BS 5609 certification

To obtain BS 5609 certification, labels need to withstand a three-month salt water submersion test in the English Channel. BS 5609-certified labels are proven to meet the most stringent tests for durability in the industry, and are described as an extremely durable label suitable use in harsh environmental conditions.

Certification includes the use of the any-002 single-pass LED toner-based label printer. This option will be presented at Labelexpo Europe 2017, alongside the Oeko-Tex 100 class 1 certified care label, which is a dual-face polyamide coated woven polyester fabric in white color which can also be printed on the any-002 label printer, in full color. These printed care label tags can be used for intimate apparel labels, sportswear or under/outerwear without limitation with durability against washing and dry cleaning process.
