Mactac acquires Label Supply

Mactac, a Lintec company, is acquiring Label Supply, headquartered in Ontario, Canada. For over three decades, Label Supply has been a stalwart in the Canadian roll label market.

Expected to close on June 1, the acquisition comprises an established, turnkey facility, replete with 11 finishing assets, a comprehensive transportation/shipping fleet, a robust laboratory and technical resource group, and an in-house ink partner. With Mactac's support, Label Supply is set to benefit from a larger customer base, access to more capital, enhanced information technology, and broad, consistent product supply.

This move also broadens the geographic reach of both companies within the Canadian market, creating a unique service and product offering that delivers specialty products, service, and large quantities to a broader customer base throughout Eastern Canada.

With an aim to expand the operational and commercial capabilities of Label Supply, Mactac plans to invest in the facility's resources, technology, and equipment, including the addition of high-volume slitting assets designed for larger material rolls. The company also intends to expand product offerings by introducing Lintec high-performance products, while ensuring supply stability.
