AWA report projects growth in global pressure-sensitive graphic arts market
The global pressure-sensitive graphic arts market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3 percent between 2023 and 2026.
AWA Alexander Watson Associates, an international market intelligence and business insight services company, has released a new study forecasting global pressure-sensitive graphic arts market to grow at a CAGR of 3.3 percent between 2023 and 2026.
This study focuses primarily on companies processing pressure-sensitive graphic film materials and adding value to the film itself. The products serve primarily as a carrier of an advertising, branding, informative, décor or safety message.
According to AWA, over the past few years, the graphic arts market has experienced steady growth. Between 2013 and 2019, the market expanded at a CAGR of 5.8 percent. Although the market has begun to recover after the decline in 2020, it is projected to grow at a slower rate than in the past, largely due to a slowdown in Asia, the largest market. The global pressure-sensitive graphic arts market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3 percent between 2023 and 2026.
Regionally, Asia holds the largest market share for graphic arts, with 39 percent of production occurring there. North America and Europe follows with 26 and 25 percent respectively, while Africa and Middle East (AME) and South America each account for 5 percent.
