MPS running at full speed to meet production demand
- Demand ‘kept us busy as a bee can be’

- Presses destined for customers around the world

Dutch printing and converting machinery manufacturer MPS was working at full capacity during October to meet increased production demand.

A total of 12 presses were built simultaneously during the month, with all production bays in use to allow the company to meet delivery commitments.

MPS builds printing and converting machines for the flexible packaging, folding carton and label markets.

It said that following Labelexpo Americas 2012, which took place in Chicago in September, it experienced an increase in production demand.

The majority of the presses built were equipped with 8-10 color stations, with an impressive 12-color EF flexo latest generation press also manufactured.

Most of the EC and EF converting and UV flexo presses have been shipped or are scheduled to depart shortly to customers in numerous continents including East and West Europe, Latin and North America, Africa and Australia.

MPS director Eric Hoendervangers said: ‘I am very pleased with the increased order activity and performance of our entire team to help meet our deliverables, marking a successful ending to 2012 for MPS.

‘It kept us busy as a bee can be.’
