DTM Print unveils new LX4000e Color Label Printer

DTM Print, an international OEM provider for specialty printing systems, has introduced the new LX4000e Color Label Printer. This is the latest addition to the LX-Series of inkjet color label printers.
 
Manufactured by Primera Technology, this new desktop printer is equipped with a print engine that has been used in previous LX-Series models, including the LX910e and LX3000e Color Label Printer. The LX4000e features large, individual ink tanks and a reusable thermal inkjet printhead. It has a native 1200 dpi resolution with a maximum print resolution of 1200 dpi x 4800 dpi, and can print labels up to 210mm (8.25in) wide and 610mm (24in) long. Print speed is up to 114mm (4.5in) per second.
 
Each CMY tank holds 60ml (2oz) of ink, and the pre-primed, reusable printheads contain another 42ml (1.4oz), totaling 222ml (7.5oz) of ink right from the start. Both dye and pigment models are available as separate SKUs. Replacement ink tanks are easy to install and self-priming.
 
The Big Ink system on the LX4000e uses dye and pigment inks optimized for brightness, durability and optical density. Its process black ink offers deep, rich tones that provide a high level of contrast and sharpness. Compared to carbon black inks used in other color label printers, process black delivers several advantages: better water and chemical resistance, greater compatibility with a wider variety of specialty label media and enhanced resistance to smearing, ensuring labels remain crisp and legible under various environmental conditions.
 
The LX4000e also features Primera’s ClearView external, clear ink tank system, allowing users to monitor ink levels without needing to open the printer’s cover. This feature reduces downtime, ensures maximum productivity and gives users more control over their printing operations. 
 
Engineered for high-volume printing of up to 7,500 labels per day, this printer also delivers notable cost efficiencies for users with lower printing demands. Its powder-coated steel cover and all-steel frame ensure protection in diverse settings such as offices, warehouses and factories.
 
The LX4000e is compatible with Windows 10/11+ and the latest macOS operating systems. It features data interfaces including Ethernet and USB 2.0 wired ports. Additionally, Windows users can access wireless connectivity using an affordable Ethernet to Wireless adapter.

The LX4000e Color Label Printer is priced at 3,595 EUR (3,730 USD) (MSRP) and is available from DTM Print or through authorized DTM Print partners in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
 
DTM Print offers customers a three-year warranty for LX4000e units within the EU, UK and EFTA countries after registering the product on the company website.
