Nireco America

Nireco America Corporation is a newly formed consolidated subsidiary of Nireco Corporation of Japan, a publicly held corporation with approximately 100 million dollars in annual sales and 350 employees in 20 worldwide locations. Nireco America was formed in 2001 as a result of the merger of Conic Systems and the USA operations of Nireco. The new company continues to offer the Conic product lines and establishes manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service for Nireco products in North America. Plans for the new company include an expanded manufacturing facility in the NY metropolitan area as well as a demo and training center. Markets currently being served by Nireco America include the flexographic, commercial offset, newspaper, and gravure printing.
Nireco America's complete product line includes tension controls, gearboxes, color register controls, cut-off register controls, gluing systems, brakes, overprint systems, video monitors, splice detectors, and edge guides.
The new company is based out of Port Jervis, NY where it offers training, testing and demonstration for the new BCON 2000CA 100% print inspection product line. Nireco America Corporation is introducing a new BCON 2000CA Automatic Print Defect Detection System designed specifically for label presses. (See next issue of Labels and Labeling for full story).
