Nuova Gidue details presence at Packprint Summit Americas 2013

Nuova Gidue is to participate at next week’s Packprint Summit Americas 2013, following on from its successful presence in the Package Printing Workshop feature area at Labelexpo Europe 2013.

Packprint Summit Americas 2013 is to take place in Miami on November 5-6. It is a summit entirely focused on the North and Latin American package printing industries.  

Labelexpo Europe 2013 took place at the end of September, with the Package Printing Workshop feature area drawing record crowds to hall 12.

Xeikon demonstrated digital carton production using a 3500 digital color press, while Nuova Gidue showcased how its Combat M3 press with Digital Flexo, the company’s process to automate press set-up and changeover, can be used to print flexible packaging.

At Packprint Summit Americas 2013, Nuova Gidue will show off its Excellence project for its M5 flexo press, which is designed to improve efficiency and productivity when printing using this process. This includes the ability to prepare the next job on the press while current job is printing, automated exchange of printing tools and exchange on-the-fly without stopping the press.
