Daniel Strickland joins Korozo Group

Strickland will support the group’s growth in North America.

Turkey-headquartered global packaging manufacturer Korozo Group has appointed Daniel Strickland to support its growth in North America. The company seeks to substantially ramp up its activities in the region.

Strickland brings a quarter of a century of experience to Korozo, with extensive knowledge of flexible and rigid packaging and trays. Close to two decades at Linpac Packaging were followed by a further six years with Klöckner Pentaplast. Over the years, he has built and managed teams in Europe, North America, South Africa and Australia.

Strickland will work closely with Kemal Yürüm, sales manager at Korozo for the Americas, and support Husa, the region’s current importer and distributor.

‘I am looking forward to working alongside Kemal to ramp up our sales presence in North America,' said Strickland. 'With the USA known as “the Land of Opportunity”, I have no doubt that Korozo will continue to make big waves in the ginormous market for flexible packaging, which is growing year-on-year.’

‘Kemal has done a tremendous job for the group in North America,’ added Korozo Group CEO Adam Barnett. ‘As we look to build our sales in the region, Dan will be critical in implementing my vision to create a North American entity turning over 50m USD. Both Dan and Kemal will work together to support Husa and build on our sales platform.’

Korozo Group operates a network of production, sales and distribution facilities across Europe and serves over 75 countries worldwide.

The company has recently recruited James Diprose as sales director for the UK and Ireland, Benelux and Scandinavia, and Alexander Hauberg to strengthen its activities in the DACH region.

‘Having already welcomed James and Alexander into the Korozo family, we look forward to working with Dan to enhance our position in North America,’ concluded Barnett.
