Manroland sheetfed names new MD for Brazilian operations

- Background working with Claudius Peters
- Will lead Claudius Peters and manroland Brazil as both relocate and share a new building
Manroland sheetfed has named Bruno Garcia as the new managing director of its operation in Brazil.
Garcia (pictured, top), who has a background in mechanical engineering, joined German machine builder Claudius Peters, a subsidiary of Langley Holdings, in 2003 at their Brazil facility.
He undertook several senior roles in project management and sales until successfully taking over as managing director three years ago.
Manroland Brazil was formed in 2009 and today employs around 26 people. Manroland sheetfed was acquired by Langley Holdings earlier this year after manroland AG went out of business.
As well as new offset litho press sales in emerging markets, manroland has been concentrating on service and performance optimization of its installed base in high-end commercial and packaging applications.
Garcia will continue to head Claudius Peters and manroland in Brazil. Both companies will shortly relocate and share a new large freehold building located in Sao Paulo recently purchased by Langley Holdings.
