Steve Marples joins Antalis Packaging

Antalis Packaging has appointed Steve Marples as category manager for in-the-box systems, stretch film and machinery to support customer needs better.

With a lengthy career in paper and packaging sales behind him, including almost 25 years with Antalis, Marples brings a rich insight into customer needs and requirements to the role. As a category manager, he will work closely with suppliers to introduce innovative new products.

‘We know customers want to minimize their environmental impact and create efficiencies in their workflows, so I’ll be working with suppliers to introduce new products and solutions that address these important issues,’ commented Marples.

Clare Evans, head of commercial and purchasing at Antalis, added: ‘Steve brings a huge amount of experience, know-how and understanding of our customers’ businesses and of packaging materials and systems. In the short time he has been in his role, he has already shown the difference his expertise can make.’
