Tenza Technologies has appointed Dominic Davé to the position of technical development scientist.
He joins Tenza’s on-site laboratory team and will be responsible for the development of quality improvement projects, product performance analysis, and continued research and development of new products and practices.
Tenza Technologies is a UK manufacturer of self-adhesive paper and filmic products. It recently launched a range of pre-formed stand-up pouches.
Davé (pictured, top) graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Master’s degree in chemistry with analytical and forensic science. Tenza said this means he has the necessary scientific expertise to bring new perspectives to the laboratory function and to manage key analytical objectives.
Davé will work alongside Gary Last, the new product development and laboratory manager at Tenza, and said: ‘I relish the opportunity of applying my theoretical and academic qualifications to practical applications within a company that has a long history of introducing new and innovative products and materials.’
Phil Meadows, general manager at Tenza Technologies, said: ‘We are enthusiastic about bringing a young, highly qualified analytical chemist to join the team at Tenza. In Dominic we are investing in current developments taking place, as well as the future prosperity of Tenza Technologies.’
