Xeikon appoints industrial sales manager

Xeikon has appointed Patrice Lecomte as industrial sales manager. He will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and promoting Xeikon’s label presses in France. 

He has 20 years experience in the label industry and was previously sales manager France for Gallus, where he sold a variety of presses, including narrow web letterpress, flexo and offset. 

Hans Gerinckx, sales director, industrial printing, said: ‘Patrice is a very welcome addition to the French sales team. Our customers and prospects will benefit from his expertise, which he has accrued over 20 years working in the label market. He has an excellent understanding of the challenges shaping the label industry in France – and has the knowledge and experience to help printers overcome them.' 

Patrice Lecomte commented: ‘The label industry is evolving rapidly, and digital has a major part to play in its future, particularly in the French market. Digital is improving all the time. And with customers increasingly using variable data and requiring short-runs, more and more label printers are choosing this versatile technology over traditional production methods to increase their profitability.’
