Sato acquires Brazil’s Prakolar

Sato has acquired 100 percent of the shares of Brazilian label producer Prakolar Rótulos Autoadesivos as it looks to accelerate the market penetration of its group companies in South America.

Through the acquisition of Prakolar, Sato is seeking to accelerate the market penetration of its South America group companies, Sato Auto-ID Do Brasil Ltda in Brazil and Achernar in Argentina

Prakolar is based in São Paulo, and utilizes its labeling sales and manufacturing expertise to service global, regional and local brands by providing high quality and high value-added labels. Its customers encompass a range of industries, mainly cosmetics and pharma but also in chemicals and beverages. Prakolar will continue to be headed up by CEO Alexandre Chatziefstratiou.

Through the acquisition of Prakolar, Sato is seeking to accelerate the market penetration of its South American group companies, Sato Auto-ID Do Brasil in Brazil and Achernar in Argentina.
