Bemis Foundation benefits from merger
New Amcor, the newly created holding company from the agreed merger of Amor and Bemis, is to make a US$35,000 to the Bemis Foundation on behalf of Amcor’s 35,000 employees worldwide.
Bemis Foundation was created in the late 1950s as a tool in the US to serve the communities in which Bemis operates. From volunteer work to monetary donations and community support, the Bemis Foundation donates several million per year to charitable organizations.
New Amcor’s contribution is part of the ongoing support to the communities in which Bemis operates following the US$6.8 billion merger.
