ETI Converting reveals JFlex Digital to North America
ETI Converting demonstrated the new JFlex Digital Print System at an open house at its international headquarters in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada for around 100 visitors. The supplier integrated the Memjet-driven digital inkjet 4-color JFlex Digital Print System into its Mini-Cohesio pressure sensitive label construction machine with in-line Pellicut thin liner (down to 18 micron) die-cutting system.
The JFlex Digital Memjet heads feature print resolution of 1,600 x 1,375 DPI and water-based inkjet printing up to 275ft/min. The system can be manufactured with flexographic print heads before and after the inkjet module. Die-cutting in-line allows for end-to-end pressure sensitive label conversion.
Maxime Bayzelon, president of ETI Converting, said: 'We chose to partner with Memjet because they have the highest speed and the highest quality inkjet printing in the market. In conjunction with the Cohesio technology where our users are able to reduce the cost of raw material by manufacturing self adhesive constructions in-line, the entire JFlex Digital system solves many difficult production points by converting everything in a single pass.'
Labelexpo Europe attendees will be able to see the fast, functional equipment running live at the ETI Converting booth 5C28.
