Wausau’s Coater 14 takes center stage

The sustainable portfolio on show includes FSC certified materials, and products manufactured with up to 100 percent post-consumer waste and up to 90 percent Recycled Polyester (rPET) liner, 420 Vellum, wood veneers, estate Label #14, recycled natural kraft materials, and or from tree-free products such as sugar cane paper and cotton – all of which are products created through low impact manufacturing and efforts to divert waste from landfills to alternative, cleaner energy uses. 

Wausau Coated Products also highlight its new manufacturing line, referred to as Coater #14, capable of producing material for billions of labels per month.

“Coater #14 is a unique piece of equipment,’ said Ben Reif, CEO of Wausau Coated Products. ‘There's no other machine like it the world. We have a history of designing and building our coating equipment. This coater is the newest, best, and biggest example of a singularly unique coating machine.’
