Schawk to standardize proofing with GMG

GMG ColorProof is a software tool for producing color-accurate contract proofs, while GMG OpenColor creates high-quality multi-color profiles simulating printing behavior of different printing technologies, media types and screening technologies.

Schawk had expressed a strong desire to standardize its global proofing process with a consistent system that would accurately represent color – no matter the ultimate print process, ink or substrate used.

Its internal workgroup, the Color Task Force (CTF), spent more than a year conducting extensive testing and analysis before it decided to work with GMG’s color systems.

Schawk is currently in the process of implementing the GMG proofing system worldwide.
