Expo reports growing interest in IP

IP Protect Expo saw an increase of 35 percent in visitor numbers in 2014 compared to the previous instalment, signalling the growing interest in protecting intellectual property.

The London-based exhibition, which was held on March 11-12  at the Business Design Centre, also drew 36 percent more attendees representing brands. In total, the event brought together over 500 visitors and more than 40 exhibitors.

Susanne Hasselmann, director at IP Events Ltd, the organisers of IP Protect Expo, said: ‘This year we specifically targeted SMEs, including designers and production companies, and with the help of the Intellectual Property Office, UKTI and ACID, we were able to offer a well-rounded program for anyone looking to grow their business and protect their most valuable assets at home or abroad.’
