OKI to expand South American distribution of proColor Series

OKI Data Americas is to broaden the distribution of its proColor Series of commercial grade digital color printers within South America.
Debuted in Santiago, Chile, at the recent Business Digital Tradeshow and Conference by Datanet, OKI’s distribution partner in the region, the proColor Series has generated ‘immediate sales and a number of new opportunities’, says the company. As a result, OKI Data will continue to expand distribution of the proColor Series throughout South America over the next 90 days – specifically within Colombia and Argentina.
Select OKI proColor devices were demonstrated by Datanet at the show, including the pro900DP digital envelope press and pro510DW digital web press. Tod Ratcliffe, director of graphic arts and production at OKI Data Americas, also delivered a keynote presentation at the conference entitled ‘Changes in label printing in the digital era’, which focused on the benefits of a digital printing environment.
‘We are thrilled to see such a large number of opportunities generated by OKI Data’s participation in the recent Business Digital Tradeshow and Conference, and to introduce the revolutionary proColor Series of commercial grade digital color printers to a new audience,’ said Ratcliffe. ‘Working with Datanet, a dedicated partner and distributor, enables us to increase awareness of the OKI proColor brand to the South American market and reinforce our commitment to the graphic arts and production segment.’
