Sani-Blast distributes variable data printing system

Eaglewood Technologies, manufacturer of the Sani-Blast line of anilox products, has been appointed as an authorized representative of the recently launched Squid Ink VDP in-line printing system.

This VDP in-line system is easily mounted to a web press or rewind station to print variable without taking the job offline for a second pass. The system is ideal for adding data, such as sequential numbers, barcodes, traceability codes or game codes on tickets, tags and labels. 

Each printhead uses a 2.1” print engine, so no stitching is necessary. This is said to improve print quality and eliminate the need of keeping individual printheads aligned properly. Up to four printheads can be added per controller, with a total of up to 8.4” of print per system.
