Screen Americas relocates to Elk Grove Village
Screen Americas has cut the ribbon at its new facilities in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and officially relocated from Rolling Meadows.
‘We are happy to welcome Screen Americas to Elk Grove Village,’ said Craig B. Johnson, mayor of Elk Grove Village, during the ceremony. ‘It is an honor to have such a thriving high-tech company call Elk Grove Village home.’
Ken Ingram, president of Screen Americas, cut the ribbon at the Inkjet Innovation Center, a more than 14,000 sq ft facility where customers will be able to engage with technology for the commercial, publishing, direct mail, transactional, packaging, folding carton and label industries. The ceremony was followed by a complete tour of the 48,000 sq ft facility given by Mark Schlimme, vice president of marketing for Screen Americas. Guests also had a chance to take a look at the pre-press room, office space, executive suites, guest lounge and warehouse.
‘We are grateful that we can utilize this wonderful location as a base for innovation and communication with our stakeholders,’ added Takanori Kakita, president of Screen Graphic Solutions in Japan. ‘Screen GA Group’s motto is to “Create a Future in Print” through the success of its customers. The American market is one of the most important regions for us and we look forward to having the Inkjet Innovation Center as a hub in North America to promote the synergy of cutting-edge technology and innovation as we create valuable solutions for our customers.’
