South Africa's metal packaging value chain brought together
The South African packaging industry has welcomed the formation of a body to represent the interests of the metal packaging industry.
Called MetPac-SA, it's a new PRO (producer responsibility organization) established to manage the recycling of steel, tinplate and aluminum packaging.
It brings together the entire metal packaging value chain – material suppliers, converters and brand owners – providing a unified voice, and its focus is on establishing the metals packaging industry as a valuable and recognized contributor to sustainability throughout the supply chain and beyond.
