BGM presents latest range of Elite machines
Bar Graphic Machinery (BGM) has partnered with its distributor for the Americas region J&J Converting Machinery (J&J) to showcase the latest range of finishing technologies at Labelexpo Americas 2022.
Annemarie Rhodes, managing director at BGM, said: 'Despite the challenges of the current pandemic, we are keen to get out and about and meet our customers and partners, old and new, from around the world. Labelexpo is always a great opportunity to understand what’s happening in the market, identify the key trends and challenges the label industry is facing, and network with the industry.
'Of course, partnering with J&J this year – a leader in the provision of new and used equipment and services for the North and South American label market - enables us to showcase our exemplary range backed by the excellent services J&J provide.
'This year, we are demonstrating our latest range of BGM Elite machines including our BGM Elite iSR Label Inspection Slitter Rewinder; probably the most cost effective, compact, robust and free-standing label inspection slitter rewinder available on the market today. We will be showing its impressive speed, at up to 300m/min, and with our customers focusing on sustainability today, visitors can observe its energy efficiency performance being only run on a simple 13-amp single phase supply.'
At the show, there also is the BGM Elite eDSR Easy Load die-cut slitter rewinder. According to the BGM, this is it’s fastest, most cost-effective, compact, robust and free-standing label die cutting product. It offers rotary die-cutting capability up to 250m/min and can also be used as a conventional slitter rewinder for complete operational flexibility.
Finally, also on show is BGM Elite Comflex compact digital finishing system; an entry level digital converting product, that, according to the company, despite being targeted at new entrants is designed and built to the exacting standards of quality that customers have come to expect from BGM.
BGM says this compact and robust machine achieves semi-rotary die cutting at speeds of up to 90m/min, nearly 40 percent faster than comparable machines on the market.
