Duran to stage folder gluer demos

Duran Machinery is conduct real-life folding and gluing demonstration at an Open House at its facility in Istanbul, Turkey in late November.

Taking place November 25-30, the folder gluer Open House will include demonstration of the new Omega Allpro 165, with converters who would like to attend asked to supply samples of their own work to run on the Omega.

The Omega Allpro series of folder gluers is capable of handling a wide range of substrates. Available in seven sizes, from 550mm to 1,650mm widths, Allpro folder gluers produce straightline, double-wall, crashlock and optional four- and six-corner jobs, with single finger servo fold for high-speed precision, as well as inner partition, Z-fold, conical crashlock and CD boxes at a maximum belt speed of 400m/min.

Allpro folder gluers can be equipped with a number of different options, including pre-feeding, Braille embossing, turning, faulty box ejection and collection.

Pinar Kucukaras, Duran Machinery sales and marketing director, said: ‘This will make the trials more interesting and relevant, so we would like sufficient blanks to be able to show job changes, and different types of blanks to show straightline, crashlock, and four-and six-corner work.’
