FRIP Finishing adds further Bobst foiler

The UK’s FRIP Finishing has installed its third Bobst 126 foiler at the company’s Stockport, Cheshire premises.

The machine will be primarily targeted towards meeting the needs and demands of the packaging and point of sale markets, and has been fully reconditioned by American International Machinery of Milwaukee.

Features of the foiler include the latest Eagle hot foiling system, which has been retrofitted, with advanced indexing and foil control.

This investment follows on from a similar installation of a Bobst 126BMA into FRIP Finishing’s Hinckley facility in April. In total, the company operates seven Bobst foilers across the group’s six sites.

FRIP Finishing said the £450,000 purchase reflects its confidence in the large format (1,260 x 920mm) foiling market.

FRIP Group managing director Leslie Gibson said: ‘The machine will enable us to offer greater flexibility to our Northern customer base as well as complimenting both our Hinckley and Glasgow sites.’
