Malaysian converter enhances its production efficiency and expands the range of embellishments.
Ean Label Industry, one of Malaysia’s leading labels and packaging companies, has invested in the Hontec MPX350 label finishing machine to enhance its production efficiency and expand the range of embellishments it can offer.
Ean Label Industry was founded in 2007 with only three staff members and two letterpress machines. The company has grown with over 110 employees to provide digital flexible packaging and label printing for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, toiletries and electronics industries in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Brunei and the Philippines.
The newly installed Hontec MPX350 integrates several key features to provide comprehensive finishing options in a single pass. It is equipped with a semi-rotary flexo/vanishing unit, a hot stamping/embossing unit, a silk screen printing unit, another semi-rotary flexo/vanishing unit, and a flat-bed die-cutting/embossing unit. This combination allows Ean Label Industry to execute a variety of embellishments and improve production efficiency while maintaining high-quality output.
‘The investment underscores Ean Label Industry’s commitment to adopting innovative technology to meet the evolving demands of the labels and packaging market,’ said the company in a statement. ‘With the MPX350, we are well-positioned to deliver enhanced product decoration options, setting a new benchmark for label finishing in Malaysia.’
