GM appoints agent in Brazil

Grafisk Maskinfabrik (GM) has appointed São Paulo-based Alphaprint to strengthen its global distributor network and expand its presence on Brazil's finishing market.

Alphaprint was founded in 1986 and currently employs more than 100 professionals serving converters across the country. Moreover, a part of the group, Ricall Indústria e Comércio de Máquinas Industriais, operating since 1963, manufactures finishing equipment for the publishing and cardboard segments worldwide.

‘Alphaprint has a mission to provide greater competitive advantage and profitability for its customers and strengthens our global distributor network with their in-knowledge of the Brazilian finishing market,’ said GM in a statement. 

Lykke Trusbak, labels segment director at GM, commented: ‘Alphaprint is a professional company, and with its large sales team it is a perfect match for GM. It has an in-depth knowledge of the finishing industry, and these guys mean it. Its first DCMINI330 demo machine has already been delivered.’
