BASF increases prices for pigments, dyes and preparations worldwide
BASF has increased prices for pigments, dyes and preparations by up to 15 percent worldwide, effective January 29, or as contracts allow.
The price increase affects all market segments, predominantly the coatings, plastics and printing industries.
BASF said price adjustments are necessary due to higher raw material prices, such as for pre-cursers of pigments and dyes, as well as increased costs for regulatory efforts like registration, environmental, health and safety.
The announcement follows an increase in prices for UV resins, under the Laromer product range, in the EMEA region.
