Belarusian label and packaging printer installs W&H Miraflex S CI flexo press

Polyprint offers design, offset printing, flexo printing, digital printing and pre-printing and post-print services. Its production covers labels and packaging, advertising collateral and corrugated packaging. Polyprint specializes in label printing and works together with major international food producers. The company is one of the largest printing companies in Belarus and has 200 employees.

Miraflex S is an 8-color central impression flexo press available in 650mm and 820mm print widths, speeds of 300m/min and 400m/min, and a print repeat range of 250-800mm. Miraflex S is fully automated and equipped with state-of-the-art systems to ensure print quality. Visocontrol viscosity control ensures the correct fluidity of the ink, Easy Set S is used for automatic setting of the color decks and Easy Reg S for register setting of all inking rollers. These offers Polyprint additional production capacity for high-grade quality products, with which the printer is able to meet the growing demands of the market.

Polyprint owner Felix Gitelman said: ‘We opted to go with a traditional company, like W&H, on account of the high quality of its systems, in particular. The professional production conditions at its Lengerich site, which enable W&H to produce the highest standard of machines, was a further factor that persuaded us.’

The Miraflex S was commissioned by Polyprint at the end of 2017.

‘The entire installation work was precisely planned in advance. Installation went seamlessly. There were no delays or failures of the high-quality machines,’ concluded Gitelman.
