Rotometal to showcase cylinder technology at Labelexpo Mexico

Rotometal, a supplier of rotary tooling, will showcase products at Labelexpo Mexico 2025 that are designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the label printing industry.

One product is the Magnetic Cylinder AluLite. This lightweight cylinder technology offers substantial weight reduction without compromising performance, resulting in cost savings on transportation and energy consumption. Cylinders over 120T can undergo a weight reduction of nearly 50 percent, making them more efficient and economical to use.

Another product is the Print Cylinder Antifriction. This innovative anodizing process utilizes a special polymer matrix to create an optimized surface smoothness while maintaining high hardness. The anti-friction treatment offers several advantages, including easier preparation and changeover, faster tape changes, enhanced durability, strong adhesion, scratch resistance and easy assembly.

Rotometal's rotoSleeves Eco product line offers sleeves that are manufactured using recycled and naturally derived materials and are designed to reduce environmental impact. Made with 100 percent recycled PET, these sleeves offer a sustainable alternative to traditional print sleeves.

Rotometal will also showcase its portfolio of other rotary tooling technology, including magnetic cylinders, print cylinders, print sleeves, sheeters, anvils, bases for sleeve anilox, embossing cylinders, air cylinders, cutting units, gears and cylinder storage options.
