Co-founder of MPS Systems invests in Etirama Europe
The company announces new distributors across Europe and aims to strengthen the brand visibility on the continent.
Bert Van den Brink, co-founder of MPS Systems and a member of its advisory board, has invested in shares of Etirama Europe, a key partner of Etirama Brazil, specializing in the manufacturing of flexographic presses tailored for printing labels and self-adhesive materials.
The deal is expected to be officially concluded in the coming weeks and aims to strengthen the Etirama brand in Europe, through new marketing strategies, taking advantage of all the new partner's know-how in the machinery segment.
Among several commercial actions, some are already being announced by the company, such as the appointment of new distributors for several countries, including Portugal, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, in addition to agents in Greece and Turkey.
The company also announced the opening of a demonstration center in June this year in the Stuttgart area, Germany, which showcase the Etirama SPS3 servomotor machine, with eight colors.
In the coming months, Etirama will announce new distributors and agents to cover other countries, as well as strategic actions for after-sales services.
Etirama already has 10 flexo machines installed in Europe and intends to significantly increase this volume with the new commercial strategies.
‘Etirama is the market leader in Latin America, with its good quality machines and a quick return on investment, and we will extend these technologies to other world markets, especially the European continent, which is going through a period of strong recovery in the segment,’ commented Ronnie Schröter, CEO of Etirama.
Etirama Europe is partner of Etirama Brazil and focuses on the marketing, commercial and after-sales management of the brand in Europe.
