Domino enhances CSR strategy with new appointment
Thomas Guerriero appointed group customer CSR manager
Domino Printing Sciences (Domino) has appointed Thomas Guerriero as group customer CSR manager to continue its commitment to corporate social responsibility and excellence in customer service with the creation of a dedicated new role to support customers with their sustainability targets.
The announcement follows the recent appointment of Jessica Büttner as group environmental impact manager. As part of the newly-developed corporate social responsibility (CSR) team, Guerriero will work alongside Domino’s customer base to identify CSR targets and set goals for reducing production waste and improving their environmental performance.
Guerriero said: ‘I am passionate about CSR, and I am excited to work with our customers as they embark on their own sustainability journeys. Organizations worldwide are feeling the pressure of becoming more CSR and sustainability orientated – this naturally includes a variety of topics such as doing more for our people and our society.
‘We aim to have as much of a positive impact as possible. This also applies to reducing our impact on the environment by focusing, amongst many things, on becoming more energy efficient, reducing our carbon footprint, and reducing waste. Setting supporting sustainability targets and achieving them is not straightforward, yet it is crucial in today’s landscape, and we are determined to walk this way.’
A key focus of the new role will be working with Domino’s sales channels to equip them with the training and resources needed to identify and develop sustainable growth opportunities for Domino and its customers. Guerriero will also be responsible for progressing Domino’s EcoVadis and Sedex accreditation roadmaps.
Guerriero’s appointment strengthens Domino’s ongoing commitment to helping manufacturers be sustainable and cut waste with technology that supports waste reduction and energy efficiency through production optimization. Domino’s products include a range of complementary technologies – from product printing to automation, production handling, and verification – aimed at reducing hidden causes of manufacturing waste while protecting end consumers and brand value.
‘I feel positive about the role that I can have in supporting customers and, through our initiatives, helping them to achieve their sustainability goals,’ continued Guerriero. ‘Initially, I will concentrate on identifying our customers CSR needs, requests and priorities and working alongside the commercial teams as they develop solutions.’
Thomas previously worked as an account manager at Domino Benelux, supporting customers and gaining experience in CSR projects.
