Succession in Comexi’s presidency

Continuing with the succession plan initiated eight years ago, the owners and the board of directors of Comexi have decided that on May 1, 2025, Pau Xifra will assume the presidency of the company, taking over from the current president, Manel Xifra, who will continue to collaborate as a member of the board of directors.

After a long career in strategic consulting, Pau Xifra joined the Comexi board in 2018. In 2022, he was appointed director of strategy and transformation and managing director in 2023. From there, he has led the company's adaptation to current market needs, strengthening Comexi's position in the flexible packaging sector and achieving positive sales and profitability results.

José Mª Pastor, the group's current strategy and transformation director, will become Comexi's managing director. With extensive experience in family businesses in different sectors, he joined Comexi a year ago. During this period, he has driven the company’s strategy and implemented its transformative projects.

Manel Xifra, the current president of Comexi, wanted to highlight that this change is part of a carefully prepared generational handover. The aim is to guarantee the continuity of the project and go a step further, entering a new stage of growth and consolidation and continuing as a family business.
