Dupont Cyrel wins IFCA Star Awards

The Dupont Cyrel flexographic division has received the Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) Star Award 2024 in the innovations leading to sustainability category. The company was awarded for its newly launched Cyrel Easy Fast EFM.

The Cyrel EFM photopolymer plates are optimized to deliver excellent print results on various paper substrates, including coated, uncoated, rough and recycled papers. Additionally, it offers a safer work environment through the reduced use of solvents, energy efficiency and increased productivity in plate processing. 

These plates enable the paper bag, tag & label, envelope, paper napkin, folding carton and corrugation industries to use greater volumes of recycled content in their paper substrates. 

With this recognition, Cyrel flexographic division seeks to introduce innovative and sustainable products to the market, leveraging technologies that ensure reliability without compromising print quality.

The IFCA Star Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in the flexible packaging and folding carton sectors, emphasizing innovation, creativity, and sustainability. The awards place a strong focus on sustainability and acknowledge the efforts of packaging companies to minimize their environmental impact.
