Packaging Innovations 2012 highlights

Packaging Innovations, held February 29 to March 1, featured a host of folding carton and flexible packaging suppliers and manufacturers, from machinery firms like Bobst, Xeikon and Agfa, and pre- and post-press system and tooling suppliers Intelligent Finishing Systems, Robatech and DuPont to flexible packaging suppliers SwissPack Europe, Discovery Flexibles, Cellac UK and Cellpack through to Chesapeake, Benson Group and Simply Cartons.

The show was co-located at the NEC in Birmingham, UK with four other events from organizer easyFairs' Packaging and Print Portfolio, namely EcoPack, Contract Pack, PackTech and Print Innovations.

As to be expected, innovation was prominent at the show with new products and services complemented by innovations to enhance existing technologies, services and products.
