Aztec Label invests in two ABG turret rewinders
Aztec Label, a UK-based converter of self-adhesive labels and tags, has installed two A B Graphic International ECTR turret rewinders to boost its productivity following increased customer demand.
As a long-standing customer, Aztec Label currently operates three ABG turret rewinders. Increasing this number to five will provide the company with the flexibility to run any job on any available machine and ensure that it can continue to meet challenging lead times.
ABG’s entry-level ECTR is available in 330mm, 410mm, or 510mm web widths and has been developed for increasing production speed and workflow efficiencies. It is also upgradable with a wide range of options, including automatic core loading, finished roll closure with print and apply label application, and ABG’s own fleyeVision 100 percent camera inspection system.
‘Over the course of the last year, we have been fortunate enough to experience record orders and sales, despite the obvious challenges of the global pandemic,’ said Colin Le Gresley, managing director of Aztec Label. ‘This latest installation is part of the investment that ensures we are able to continue meeting the growing demands of our customers.
‘This is not our first experience with the A B Graphic rewinder. The machine is so reliable and very easy to set up and is a good ‘work horse’ machine that represents excellent value for money. We are committed to providing the best possible service for our customers, and by investing in the latest technology and equipment, we can ensure that we deliver that.
‘We have been dealing with ABG for over 16 years now and have a strong working relationship on every level. The company has the same commitment to customer service as we do, which gives us confidence from the moment the order is placed right through to installation. This latest investment will serve to further increase our capabilities, ensuring we can continue responding to our customers quickly and with the quality we have become known for.’
