Artotec invests in another KBA

Artotec, a Karachi-based printing company, has ordered its second KBA sheet-fed press.

A 6-color Rapida 145 plus coater comes with a DriveTronic SIS sidelay infeed. A release by KBA stated that this investment was necessary to boost packaging production and increase output. The company is investing in new pre-press and post-press technology.  
 
Six years ago Artotec was the first company in Pakistan to order a new sheet-fed offset press from KBA. It was a 6-color Rapida 105 with coater and the company’s only printing press until now. The company said that the Rapida 105 runs every day without any downtime.
 
About 100 employees at Artotec produce packaging for food, cosmetics, the textile industry and many other segments. The company is seeing continued growth and is certified in accordance with ISO 9001-2008.
