IPG is a portfolio company of Svoboda Capital Partners, and is a full service provider of packaging products, including pressure-sensitive and shrink sleeve labels, and pouches. It operates out of three production in Dallas, Tulsa and, now, Austin, giving it a strong presence in the Central/Southwest region of the US.

Hyde Park Label is headquartered just north of Austin in Round Rock, and provides labels printed using flexo and digital. It was named as TLMI’s 2015 Converter of the Year. By virtue of the acquisition, IPG is now the only company in Texas with two HP Indigo WS6600 digital presses, which will provide greater capacity to satisfy its clients with short runs of labels, sleeves and pouches.

Lynn Higgs, IPG CEO, said: ‘The Hyde Park Label acquisition expands our geographic footprint and adds capacity to provide our customers with great quality and service. We remain committed to growing IPG through acquisitions and organic growth.’

Alan Etheridge, Hyde Park Label managing director, described IPG as ‘dynamic’, and said: ‘The product breadth, expansive salesforce and diverse asset base that IPG offers brings a bounty of solutions to the markets we currently serve, and complements our value-based platform with a complete solutions portfolio.’

Gary Dunlap, IPG chief executive officer, added: ‘From an operations perspective, Hyde Park Label is a great addition to our team. By joining forces, we gain insight from the 2015 TLMI Converter of the Year, which is always an opportunity to bring new ideas to improve our entire organization.’
