Grafix introduces modular off-line finishing and converting systems

Converting machinery specialist Grafix Equipment has unveiled the Mod Tech line of modular components for off-line finishing and converting. 

The Grafix Equipment Mod Tech system features capabilities spanning 10-40in web widths, and potential applications include digital re-register, die-cutting and finishing, extended content label converting and die-cutting, and inkjet print and die-cutting systems for small folding cartons.

Specialized and custom engineered applications are also available.

Grafix Equipment said the system enhances productivity and efficiency by freeing up valuable press time as most applications can slow down flexo press and line speeds.
