ITW Security Group appoints VP/GM

ITW Security and Brand Identity Group has appointed Michael Burton as vice president and general manager of ITW Security Group of Companies. He will be responsible for its global security businesses, including ITW Covid, Fasver, and ITW Imagedata.

Reporting to Nick Martino, group president of the ITW Security and Brand Identity Group, Burton will also oversee the key security commercial business components at CFC International, CFC Europe, Coding Products and ITW Veneta. He will champion the strategic planning and alignment of these units into one global security organization.

Burton is said to have significant operational expertise, along with more than 30 years of management, technical and engineering experience. Since 2000, he has held a number of senior management positions within ITW, most recently as group general manager at ITW Space Bag. He previously held several management positions within ITW Zip-Pak, and a number of leadership roles within the plastics extrusion/conversion processing industry.
