Mark Chrisman joins Omnova

Omnova Solutions has named Mark Chrisman as the new global vice president of sales and commercial excellence of its Performance Chemicals business unit, where he will oversee the worldwide execution of the company’s overall sales strategy.

Chrisman’s career has included leadership roles in both sales and global sourcing, and most recently he served as vice president of global commodity management at Alcoa. Previously, he led worldwide commercial efforts at Chemtura Corporation as sales vice president of polymer additives, and as global commercial director of flame retardants and brominated performance products.

Chrisman has also held key commercial positions at Ohio Valley Plastic Group, Nova Chemicals, Mozel Incorporated, Great Lakes Chemical Corporation and Dow Chemical Company.
