Itasa Asia expands operations
Itasa Asia, located close to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has expanded its operations to a new facility in the country.
The new premises houses a 2.3m-wide silicone coating line with integrated printing capability of up to two colors. This production line is capable of delivering products using paper and film substrates, which can be printed and converted into slit rolls.
The company specializes in customizing PET, PP and LDPE or HDPE release liners ranging from 8 to 200 micron and coated on one or both sides.
In the beginning of 2017, Itasa introduced its product portfolio for linerless label applications. The company offers a variety of thermal paper base weights and different release values for non-permanent and permanent adhesives.
