GM extends presence in Chile with showroom in Santiago

Finishing equipment supplier GM has inaugurated a technology showroom in Santiago, Chile.

Jos Kabouw, chief business developer for GM Latam

The showroom, which will allow local converters to test GM’s equipment, is based in the ENEA Industrial Park, a five minute drive from Santiago’s international airport.

GM opened its office in Chile in 2011, offering sales and technical support throughout the Latin American market.

‘The idea is to give customers the opportunity to experience the advantages of GM equipment,’ said Jos Kabouw, chief business developer for GM Latam. ‘In the Santiago facility, we are currently displaying a DC330 Nano on the floor with plans to install more machines later this year.

‘Customers who are interested in digital printing solutions from HP Indigo, Xeikon, Epson, Konica Minolta, or others are welcome to visit to our showroom to run tests or live jobs.’

GM Latam has increased stock levels with strategic spare parts, which the company says allows faster response times and minimizes machine downtime.
