Classique Labels & Packaging adds hybrid embellishment system

Founded in 2016, Classique Labels & Packaging is a Quick Time Group company and is among the leading converters in the region. The company claims to have gained recognition in the region with supply of quality products, reasonable price structure and quality service.   

 

‘Digital print is a part of packaging. Print in itself is only a part while the converting part makes it into a functional package. The use of digital print in packaging will continue to grow for sure. Packaging is the future and printers should surely look for niche solutions that they can create for packaging,’ the company said.  

 

The embellishment machine is a hybrid of the inkjet systems from Vinsak and the Digistar from Lombardi of Italy. The inkjet systems include a 330mm monochrome VIS1200K UV system capable of printing QR codes, versioning, text, and high-quality images up to 600 DPI.   

 

A second Vinsak HB (High Build system) of 350mm width is used by Classique for varnishes, coatings and raised foils on labels, paper bags and cartons.  

 

The Lombardi Digistar platform includes a flexo unit for primers, coatings or static text, a cold foiling unit on rails to be used with flexo or inkjet, and Volo semi-rotary die-cutting unit capable of cutting any size label with a single magnetic cylinder.

With this installation, the Lombardi distributor in the region has installed 10 machines. All over, Lombardi has installed more than 500 in-line flexo presses globally with about 125 being sold in Vinsak territories. Lombardi has also recently launched its I2 series of mid and wide web in-line flexo presses for flexible packaging.
