Grafpress acquires Lemorau Smart-L finisher

Olkusz, Poland based digital label converter Grafpress has installed Lemorau Smart-L finishing machine to meet the constantly growing needs of its customers.  

Łukasz Kajda, the owner of Grafpress, said: ‘The acceleration of print performance also forced us to invest in the finishing process. Taking into account our good cooperation with Grafmasz, we decided once again to choose their solution. We were allowed to have a remote presentation of the Lemorau machines and their production process in the factory in Porto, which ultimately convinced me to choose this manufacturer. 

‘I compared offers from several manufacturers of similar machines, but the Lemorau Smart-L turned out to be optimal in terms of technical needs while maintaining an affordable price compared to the competition.’  

The Smart-L is one of Lemorau’s latest developments, a compact finishing machine that operates in full rotary and semi-rotary modes.  

Completely servo motored, this machine also includes electronical web guide, strip waste rewinder, air trim removal, double rewinder with interchangeable pneumatic shafts and QRC – Quick remote connection software – for easy remote access to the machine. 

As optional features the customer chose to add Clear on Clear sensor, Linerless lamination unit, Speed Pack to increase semi rotary working speed to a max of 80m a min, pressure gauges and razor slitting knives unit.  

The implementation was carried out by the authorized partner of Lemorau in Poland, the company Grafmasz.
