HP announces first customer for Pack Ready Lamination

An HP Indigo Pack Ready Laminator is scheduled to be installed at Toppan Printing of Japan this summer, making it the first customer beta site.

An HP Indigo Pack Ready Laminator is scheduled to be installed at Toppan Printing of Japan

The company is also conducting certification tests to become a licensed supplier of HP Indigo Pack Ready Film, enabling flexible packaging converters around the world to access this lamination technology.

Pack Ready Lamination technology allows for immediate time-to-market to convert HP Indigo digitally printed flexible packaging material into consumer packaging. The system includes the HP Indigo Pack Ready Laminator and Pack Ready Film. For more details, click here.

Toppan Printing is also in the process of testing HP Indigo Pack Ready Coating, HP Indigo’s post-print coating option for making it possible to convert HP Indigo digital print to retort pouches, including clear retort using Toppan’s high barrier GL film.
