MultiColor installs Hontec finishing platform

Polish printing house expands its capabilities with Hontec's label finishing platform.

Polish converter MultiColor Printing House has a Hontec MPX350 label finishing platform and an FD460 high-speed flat-bed die-cutting machine to expand its production capabilities.

MultiColor, established in 2004, is a family-owned business that stands at the forefront of the label manufacturing industry. It is driven by a commitment to innovation and quality and offers offset, flexo, and digital printing, along with a wide range of pre-press and design services.

The newly installed Hontec MPX350 has been crafted to allow MultiColor to add high-quality embellishments to printed labels, enriching brand presentation and speeding up market reach.

The modular design allows for tailored configurations, ensuring precise alignment with specific production needs. The machine has many options, including flat-bed hot stamping, fully rotary flexographic printing, flat-bed silk screen printing, rotary die-cutting, flat-bed die-cutting, laser die-cutting, buffer and turret rewinding, sheet cutting and more.

Combined with the EtherCat system, the modular design enables many configurations and futureproofs MultiColor’s machine for later module upgrades if required.
