Label show returns to India
- Aimed at label and package printers/converters, with 27 presses running live demos

- Registration for 6th edition now open

Labelexpo India, part of the global series of Labelexpo events, is returning to New Delhi at the end of October with the largest show in its 10-year history.

Labelexpo India is to take place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on October 29 to November 1.

It is the largest event for the label, product decoration, web printing and converting industry in South Asia, and 2012 will be the sixth edition of the show.

More than 200 local and international press and material manufacturers are due to exhibit at this year’s show. New exhibitors include Color-Dec, Fujifilm Sericol, Heraeus Amba, Jung Chang Machinery, Mastercorp, Mimaki, Rheintacho and Webtech.

There has also been a large increase in international exhibitors with more manufacturers than ever before from the Far and Middle East, including Anoop Plastic and Taghleef Industries.

Aimed at labeling and packaging printers/converters, brand owners and label designers, many new product and technology launches are scheduled to take place at Labelexpo India 2012.

Registration
Registration for the show is now open. It is free and can be made here.

As well as the latest advances in label materials, films, sleeves and wraps technologies, 27 working presses will be giving live demonstrations at the show.

Labelexpo India will also play host to the LMAI Avery Dennison Label Awards.

Roger Pellow, Labelexpo managing director, said: ‘We’re delighted to be returning to India and again look forward to working closely with our partners at the LMAI.

‘Since the show was last held in 2010, India’s label industry has continued to grow at around 7-10 percent, while business has become more commercialized with international brands such as Carrefour and Walmart entering the Indian wholesale market and in turn driving opportunities for label converters.

‘As printers see their businesses mature, competition intensify and a rise in demand for high-quality and specialist printing, visiting this year’s Labelexpo India and seeing the latest innovations available to the industry will be more imperative than ever.’
