Prati sees turnover grow 95% in 2015
Italian finishing equipment manufacturer Prati saw turnover in 2015 grow 95 percent from 2014, and is targeting further growth in 2016.
Prati described its 2015 sales performance as ‘phenomenal’, and said product developments, such as its Saturn slitter inspection rewinders, played a large role in this achievement, with a combined total of 46 Saturn Omnia and Saturn Midi machines sold in 2015. On average, a machine left its factory every second day over the 12 months of 2015. The company saw growth in its installed base in all geographies around the world, although a considerable increase in sales was reported in Central and Southern Europe.
It further attributed its rapid growth to a partnership approach with customers that has allowed them to grow also. ‘We strongly believe in mutual growth as a means and a target,’ said Chiara Prati, company sales and marketing manager. ‘The better we support our customers, the greater success they achieve in the market. This has rewarded us throughout 2015. We are riding the same wave of success as our customers. A win-win situation which is the best recommendation we could hope for.’
‘Personally and on behalf of my family and all the staff who work in this company, here in Italy and around the world, I wish to thank each of our customers for their loyalty and open-mindedness. Only together can we consolidate our successful partnerships, empowering label converters with the solutions they require to lead the market.’
Prati said it has seen similar performance to 2015 during the early stages of 2016, with further growth targeted. It will have a presence at label industry events worldwide throughout the coming year, including at Dscoop EMEA in Tel Aviv in early April, at Label Summit Latin America in Cartagena, Colombia later in April, at drupa in Germany at the end of the second quarter and at Labelexpo Americas 2016 in Chicago during October.
